The 2010 Malaysia Chinese New Year Open House in Pandamaran, Klang, on Feb 20 will be an opportunity for leaders to mingle with the rakyat in an informal manner. Deputy Minister of Information Communication and Culture Senator Heng Seai Kei, said the event will begin at 6.30pm and will go on till 11pm, and will give an avenue for all Malaysians to get a taste of the Chinese celebration in a Chinese new village that still maintained the community's traditions.

The celebration which will be graced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, will also be attended by Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Utama Rais Yatim and MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat, who is also Transport Minister.

"All Cabinet ministers, members of parliament, senators, Selangor state assemblymen, Kuala Lumpur representatives and opposition leaders are invited to attend the event," she said at a news conference at the Sultan Abdul Samad Building here today.

Heng said the Chinese New Year this year will promote the community's culture through calligraphy and origami besides having shows by Kumpulan Kesenian Muhibah 1Malaysia, Kumpulan Kesenian Sokagakai (Selangor), Kumpulan Tradisi Kesenian India, Kumpulan Kesenian Angklung, Topeng Remaja Cina (Jorinn Chee Ka-Yee), Kumpulan Kaki Kayu and Singa Akrobatik dancers.

"True to the this Chinese New Year's icon, namely the Tiger, a special Tiger Dance will be staged," she said. The event will also have appearances by celebrities Ning Baizura, Rynn Lim, Xiao Hei, Gary Chow and Michael Wong. Heng said about 20,000 people from Selangor and Kuala Lumpur are expected to attend. There will be lucky draws for laptops, mobile phones and broadband services, she said.

首相拿督斯里纳吉将亲临于本月20日（星期六）在班达马兰新村举行的全国新春大团拜，与民一起捞生庆金虎年。新闻通讯、艺术及文化部副部长王赛芝指出以“一个马来西亚，以民为本，绩效为先”作为当天的主题，她表示，所有民众在当晚都可以和首相面对面交谈，同时首相还会探访村内数户人家和派红包，与平民做近距离的接触。

她还说：“选择班达马兰举办大团拜的原因是该村有着浓浓的传统气息，目前村内商家正如火如荼展开美化工作，好让首相在春意浓烈的环境下，与民共度新年。”

当晚的节目多姿多彩，传统表演如舞狮、舞龙、舞虎、古典乐器演奏和变脸等，另外，有关单位也邀请著名大马歌手曹格、光良、林宇中、小黑和马来天后宁拜祖拉（Ning baizura）担任表演嘉宾。预料活动将吸引约2万人出席，大家与贵宾齐捞生，祈盼国泰民安。这个活动由傍晚6点开始至晚上10点，欢迎各族民众前来共度新春。

Yu Zhong was questioned about him taking over the ambassador title from Daniel Lee. He explained that he is the ambassador of a new Tinge with a new packaging and new flavour (Different from Daniel). Every new product to him is a new challenge to him. He also purposely included a new song for Tinge in his new album.

Tinge is a new healthly flavoured drink with less sugar and no colouring~

Yu Zhong together with Lee Zhi Ching, Phoebe Yap & Will Ng will be performing in the Sukan Paralimpik Opening Ceremony concert. There will also be other artist like MK, Revathy, Nimmy, The Lima, Amuk, and Sitharthan)

Admission to the stadium will be free of charge BUT you will need to get your free passes from various places around the Klang Valley. Tickets will be distributed at Information Counters of Shopping Malls around KL. If you didn't manage to get any tickets until the day of the concert, you can still get tickets around the stadium on that day itself. Tickets will enable you to participate in the RM 60,000 Lucky Draw. (Sources : From the Paralimpiad Malaysia Press Conference)So hope that everyone staying around KL can manage to attend this concert and not only show your support to Rynn but also the disabled athletics that need your support.

Tickets will be available at Information counters of shopping malls around Klang Valley such as Sg Wang and also 7-11's. (Not conformed yet)
